Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will’s past re-emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge…how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop ‘carving pumpkins.’
I don't know how I felt about this book. I definitely liked it better than Slammed. I was able to put out of my head the teacher-student relationship. A LOT happened in this book. It wasn't too overwhelming. I liked how it was told in Will's point of view. It was different. I think that this series contains my favorite of Hoover's characters.
I really want to know what else happens with the ex girlfriend and ex best friend… just because I'm curious. Also what else happens with school? Haha.
I butterflying love Kiersten, Caulder, and Kel's friendship. Kiersten is just one of my favorite characters in general. Her and her mom are an interesting bunch.
Again I didn't like this series as much as her other books. I really liked Someday Maybe and Hopeless.
4 stars out of 5.
